Description
Beckhoff M2400 Lightbus combi input/output module has been designed for operation of four servo axes.
The M2400 analog output module features up 4 analog output channels (±10 V, 12 bit resolution) and 16 digitally-filtered short-circuit protected digital inputs/outputs (24 V DC, 500 mA). The module allows setting and reading of four analog velocity command values, and generation of the requisite auxiliary signals.
The Lightbus system features fibre optics connection, which enables high-speed transmission of the transducer values with no central device interference (PC, PLC or CNC) within 25 µs. The module allows monitoring of output using a watchdog circuit, features a LED status indicator for all I/Os and a single 24 V DC power connection. All connections are plug-in types.
M2400 supports direct mounting in the power control cabinet and snap-on mounting on a DIN rail.
